Content

Douglas Youth Soccer (DYS) - formerly known as Douglas Axmen Soccer Club is a 501c3 Non-Profit Organization promoting youth participation in the game of soccer while teaching physical activity and interpersonal skills.

DYS is fully operated by volunteers from the local community who are interested bringing the game of soccer to the youth of Douglas, Massachusetts and surrounding towns.  We encourage you to dedicate a few hours a week to help make a difference for the youth of Douglas, MA.

Leagues

Douglas Youth Soccer includes soccer programs for a variety of age groups:

In Town (non-travel):

  • U4 (Grade Pre-k 3)
  • U6 (Grades Pre-k 4 & Kindergarten)
  • U8 (Grades 1 & 2)

Travel:

  • U10 (Grades 3 & 4)
  • U12 (Grades 5 & 6)
  • U14 (Grades 7 & 8)

DYS uses a grade-based system when determining league eligibility.  September 1st is the cutoff date for determining player eligibility to a league which is aligned to the Douglas school system grade selection.  This method allows players to be closer in age and have the opportunity to play with their peers.

Example: To be eligible to play in U4 in the fall 2017 / spring 2018 season, the player must have a date of birth on or before 9/1/2014.
